Member Information



The Members of the Museum of Abernethy hold a number of fundraising events each year in aid of the Museum.  It is also possible to support the Museum by becoming a volunteer.   The Museum is solely run by volunteers who are responsible for new displays every year, looking after the collection, managing the Museum shop, producing an annual newsletter, and manning the Museum during opening hours.


Privileges of membership include:


   •     The opportunity to be involved in an important community venture
   •     "Behind the scenes" visits to other local museums
   •     A regular newsletter and programme of social/fundraising events


Subscriptions

Membership subscriptions are payable annually in April, as follows:

Single - £8.50    Senior (aged over 60) - £6.00      Family - £14.00
